Bio
Led by frontman Dave Mancinelli, Taller In Person formed at the beginning of 2008 following the completion of Mancinelli's solo album. Having written and recorded the album himself, he was eager to find a more collaborative musical process and set out in search of like-minded musicians. In stepped guitarist Brian Pacheco, bassist Phil Bressler and drummer Jonathan Whitney. The four-man group has since played shows at many major rock venues in the Boston area, including the Middle East Downstairs and Great Scott, and have earned a devoted following of fans.
On January 29, 2012, the band released their debut EP, Chemistry And Architecture, a compilation of four energetic rock songs perfect for pumping through a car stereo on an open highway. Punctuated by catchy choruses and memorable guitar riffs, Chemistry's lyrics toe the line between serious and self-aware, ranging from tales of heartbreak to the zombie apocalypse.
The band has since continued their assault on the Boston music scene and have recently played in Brooklyn, NY.
