Being inspired by a regular serving of Bob Dylan, Syd Barrett, John Lennon and Damien Rice British singer/songwriter Tall William blends an honest and open lyrical style worthy of poet John Updike with nothing-to-hide tunes and melodies akin to Lou Reed. Born in Scarborough, England Tall William picked up both the guitar and piano aged 12 and began playing Dylan covers and writing 'stories-to-music' which later matured into full original songs. Disinterested in the arrogant Rock and Roll scene of North England Tall William now finds solace in the Jazz/Blues driven cafes of Vienna. Finding an intimate connection between performer and audience.
