Tamara Blue is completely vulnerable on stage. Willingly sharing every part of her life, nothing is off limits. She has facilitated poetry workshops to at-risk youth in LA for seven years. She featured on the 5th season of Russell Simmons presents Def Poetry on HBO. Tamara was a member of the 2004 Los Feliz and the 2005 Los Angeles Grand slam teams. In South Africa, she participated in the Grams Town National Theater Festival. A documentary, I Am Women, chronicled Tamara teaching workshops to South African youth. College shows include UCLA, Everett, Olympia, and CSULA. She featured in the award winning documentary Sp!t. Tamara has also hosted and aired on local and national radio stations KPFK, KJLH, KKBT and KCRW. Her warm smile and genuine personality allows her to connect with all people. Tamara is a real friend, sister, guidance counselor and a mentor. Her words inspire life and encourage progression
