Tamara Selim Minandri

Tamara Selim Minandri , is an italian singer and son writer , her origin is half egyptian. She began her career at a young age, making her live debut at only 8, imitating Michael Jackson her favorite singer . At the age of 16, she found the best way to comunicate her emotions writing , singing and dancing , wrote the first song titled “Tempo infinito (Infinitive time)”. After three years she started to sing her songs with her new group “ L’Eco” , from that moment she felt the music part of her.. When she met Pierpaolo Palumbo , music producer , her music project started and she made her first music recording debut with the song in english titled “Simple Love” wrote in 2001, few months later “Prendimi così ( Take me as I am)” and “Ora lo so (Now i know)” collaborating with Emanuele Bossi The first success comes in Italy when Tamara, like selim t, writes the remix of a Claudio Baglioni’s old song titled ” Sabato Pomeriggio ( Saturday afternoon)” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7M2eRYc3fQ4
In this period she is on tour for one year with Radio Company, Radio Kiss Kiss, Radio Italia , Match Music Tv, All Music Tv. In the same time she’s starting to collaborate with the most important italian singers like Claudio Baglioni , Antonello Venditti singing during “O’Scià” in Lampedusa, the music demonstration to defende the international immigrants, sponsored by many international tv. After the Pope John Paul II’s death , Tamara dedicates to him her song singing for the world with Paul Young, Mietta, Earth Wind & Fire, Marina Rei and other importants international artists during the special concert in Olympic Stadium of Rome sponsored by Rai International and Rai Uno.
A year later, in 2007 she creates two new songs: “Vuoto Incolmabile (Deep empty)” dedicated to the father and the remix of the songs “Lettera (Letter)” , Love is true, song actually on the italian radio and the new album “L'AttesA” ,collaborating with Andrea Tosi. L’Attesa is coming in Genuary 2012 ....!!!
