Bio

Born in Fort Smith, Arkansas and raised in Bakersfield, California this fiery redhead with a traditional country sound is taking Nashville head on. Tamaray knew from a very young age that she was born to sing and write country music. She was a California girl with a country twang. By the time Tamaray entered high school she was writing songs and finding her sound. Before she knew it she was flying out to Nashville for songwriting workshops every chance she could get and quickly began working on her craft.
With a lot of determination and an attitude ready to make it happen, Tamaray decided to make the big move to Nashville in March of 2010. Since then she has been busy playing shows, writing with some of the industries top songwriters, and most recently completed her debut album titled, “Something Amazing.” Currently Tamaray is an artist with the label Nashville on the Brazos Productions, LLC, where she and her team focus on creating and promoting uplifting music with a positive message. Tamaray also performs as a regular guest star on Nashville’s fastest growing variety show, The Chico and B-man show, where they feature Music City’s brightest and most talented singers and songwriters.
Since making the move to Music City, Tamaray has already built a large following, with her voice often compared to country music legends such as Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton and her music to Miranda Lambert. And when this busy redheaded beauty isn’t playing shows or writing songs, she’s busy giving back to the community and educating others about the power of music.
“Music and education mean everything to me,” says Tamaray. With a Bachelors degree in business management, Tamaray understands the importance of working hard to achieve your goals. “Because of my education and the opportunity to learn music, I was able to pursue my dreams. Now I want to give back to others and help someone else achieve their dreams too.”
