Bio
Born in Jerusalem, Israel . on a hot summer day...1980.
Tamar Eisenman is one of Israel's unique voices. This young yet experienced artist brings an accurate combination of vulnerability and ruggedness,
shyness and extroversion, rock & folk, all these blend into a fabulous musical concoction.
In 2009 & 2011 Eisenman released her second and third self-produced albums ("Gymnasium" & "Time for Creation") which were highly praised by local media and followed up with fans in Israel and around the world.
Eisenmans album is one of the best, freshest, and most exciting things to have happened to Israeli music recently "
Ben Shalev / "Haaretz"
Tamar is an enormous mass of energy tightly packed in a compact physique. Her modest stature stands in great contrast to her overwhelming charisma and musical force. With her unique style and groove, her breathtaking guitar playing and outstanding performance, she leaves the crowed spellbound by the end of the show.
Tamar began playing the guitar when she was 6 years old, while living in San Francisco with her family. Not long after that her course in life was clear and strong, with her parents support Tamar took guitar lessons and started playing with bands and musicians in Jerusalem. Right after the army service Tamar started working on her own material and on September 2003 she released her first EP including 5 songs recorded in her home studio.
Dont let Tamar Eisenmans diminutive stature fool you - shes a musical heavyweight"
David Brinn / Jreusalem post
It took me two days to recover from the shock, recalling a great musical experience In which I saw Garry Moore, B.B. King, and Jimmy Hendrix all on one stage Reflected through Tamar Eisenman, whose performance borders on perfection.
Israel post
Tamar is currently recording her new album and touring Israel with her new show- "Solo +".
Her future plans include a tour in the US this coming March as well as a performance at the L-Beach festival in Germany the following April.
