"Bug infestation decimates area strawberry farm"

Since I'm quite new with selling the music I wrote, I haven't had any press reviews, yet. I thought you might like to read some articles on the events that inspired the Dear Angels song. I wrote the song two weeks after we lost our strawberry crop due to Thrips. Although the loss was devastating at the time, alot of music has been created because of that loss.
You can read the West Bend Daily News article at www.gmtoday.com/news/local_stories/2006/June_06/06152006_08.asp or just Google Tami's Berry Farm (Patch). Our story was also covered by WISN Channel 12, out of Milwaukee in 2006 and a follow up was done in 2007, where I played the song Dear Angels as the backdrop in the interviews for both years. Patrick Palentonio was the interviewer. Our story was also covered by the Milwaukee Journal, The Campbellsport News, and The Fond du Lac Reporter. - West Bend Daily News

Bio

Diane and Tami came together in the last year to create the writing team "Playne Jayne". Tami currently writes most of the lyrics and melodies and Diane brings the songs alive with her creative harmonies (a song within a song) and ideas. They are launching their song writing career with a little bit of everything. They both feel they are being guided spiritually down this path with their music and are looking forward to creating more songs in the future. The lyrics range from songs about angels to songs about relationships (good and bad) to songs about the hereafter. Most are based on life experiences with a few embellishments in parts (they won't tell which parts!). Tami and Diane believe their music is different and speaks directly to all types of listeners.
Diane has been involved with music since she was a child. She learned the piano/organ at an early age, being strongly influenced by her mother who was the choir director in their local church. After her mother retired, Diane took her place as choir director for many years. Diane can sing a wide range of music. The skys the limit with her vocal range.
Tami has been involved with music since grade school, starting with alto sax and switching over to acoutic guitar shortly after graduating. Her biggest influences in music were John Denver, Elton John, Waylon Jennings, and Johnny cash. Tami's alto voice brings credibility to many of her songs, as it brings out the true feelings of her lyrics. Her spirituality has pushed her into taking a new path in life, sharing her music, in the hopes that her lyrics will help others. Although the music business is quite new to them, they are ready for the challenge.
