Empty Room

It started out as a solo acoustic act under the name of Josh Savage. Then, however, there was a time for change. Fellow University of York students Rob Stonehouse (bass/back-up vox), Ollie Brenig-Jones (drums) and new guitarist Harry Lister (lead guitar) joined Josh to form Taming The Savage!

They formed in May 2010, and then began playing gigs later in the year at various campus bars and house parties, and have already seen some success by being played several times on BBC Radio York via BBC Introducing. So far, the band has released one EP named "Empty Room", which sold out instantly at their performance at Woodstock Festival. They recently reached the regional finals of Live & Unsigned in Newcastle, toured the UK in summer and have also been offered a publishing deal.
