Bio

Tammy Miller is an amazing Scottish singer/songwriter and has been playing guitar and singing for just over 3 years now, she was picked up through YouTube just over a year ago by Stephen Barbour, who now acts as her Manager and what a first year together they have had, outstanding.

She is producing some of the best attention grabbing acoustic pop songs in Scotland at the moment and the vocals  drag you into to each of her songs whether its one of her own or one of the many covers she is now getting known for putting her own unique stamp on.

She had only previously played a few open mics, Tammy also enjoyed showing off her talents with some busking stints in Edinburgh from time to time.

During Jan & Feb 2013, Tammy prepared herself to take to the stage and really for the first time with the likes of chart toppers Toploader, Brown Bear & The Bandits, Katie Sutherland, Culann, and many more, even with some of these big names at the 2013 MV Festival, Tammy Miller ended up being a stand out act, that festival organisers and managed to have Tammy play three different acoustic stages over the three day festival, with each one gaining new fans all the way.

The rest of 2013 saw tammy work hard with a number of gigs and some radio sessions mainly through out central Scotland. Towards the end of the year, herself and management decided to give a debut EP a try and see how it would be taken by the public after such a short space of time performing in public.

I guess all those gigs and events had paid off, with a very successful launch of her debut EP Let It Go, Tammy sales online and physical sales are still going well, for who most would still say is an unknown talent, but even away from iTunes & Spotify etc was where the real success came in the form of some great reviews and invites to play gigs and live radio sessions & interviews from around the country, that marked the success this debut EP had really made, with invites from Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland to the breakfast shows and mid morning radio shows of Preston and Manchester, with lots of stops in between, even Salford City Radio invited Tammy over for a chat and the IT Bar in Leeds had her in for a gig.

If you add tours of the highlands, central Scotland community radio tour, radio plays all over the country and as far away as the States and Oz and a few plays out of Jim Gellatly on his Sunday Amazing Radio show, the debut EP release was worth it.

2013 ended with a performance at the Dunbar Christmas light switch on and 2014 started by joining the line up of the Pulse Party, both in front of hundreds & hundreds of people, not a bad way to end your first year and start your second year in music.

What does 2014 and beyond hold, who knows, but event bookings coming in and Tammy taking a break at the start of the year to write some new and some upbeat tunes, she has more than an album in the bag, watch this space, this Tammy Miller is coming at ya, she is already a star in her own right, that just keeps getting bigger and brighter and she has the motivation to let nothing stand in her way.
