TAMU

TAMU

BandHip Hop

T.A.M.U. is lyrically profound hip hop which is equal parts old-school and new-school. The voice is one-of-a-kind. The subject matter is familiar but expressed from a completely undiscovered point of view. Hardcore rap expressed through lush musicality and philosophical hard core lyrics.

Biography

TAMU's stage presence and performance energy are infectious. His focus on rhyme structure and flow are reminiscent of KRS-ONE, while his stage show packs the energy of Busta Rhymes! Add in his unique voice (similar to GURU of Gangstar) and the content of rappers like Redman and Common and you are beginning to see a picture of the artist T.A.M.U. His following is composed of avid hip-hop afficionadoes, DJ's, area tastemakers, and followers of the cultural aspect of music- but still sparks the interest of the casual listener with his natural charisma and gift for witty wordplay.
