More Than You’ll Ever Know , featuring Tyscot Records’ Bubby Fann, offers up a bit of a traditional style with a funky twist. Even beyond your wildest dreams, God loves you more than you’ll ever know – that is the message that rings true on this track. The smooth background vocals drive that point home in the vamp as TaMyya J ad libs with powerful vocals. This song deserves repeat status in your CD player.
It’s been awhile since I’ve heard a jam that had me bopping my head at work. I had to put Dancin” on repeat. Produced and written by Adam Blackstone (who has worked with Jill Scott and Jay-Z), Dancin'; will have you doing what the song says – dancin’. Seriously.
The title track, Suddenly speaks to the fact that a change has happened within TaMyya J as soon as she realized that Jesus paid the ultimate price for her. Well, not only for her, but for all of us. She’s noticed the sudden change … have you?
Things slow down with the worship song, You’re Worthy. TaMyya J’s vocals are soft and soothing and the music compliments the softness of her voice as she sings praises to God on this track. This gives the listener a chance to reflect on the goodness of God and to think back on how worthy God truly is.
TaMyya’s purpose and mission is “to be in the perfect will of God”. She’s been featured at many East Coast events and there is no doubt that she will gain more national attention with Suddenly.

Great CD. I first heard you on soundclick.com and I had to check your whole project out. You production is hot and you range is crazy. Its hard to put you in a category because your style borrows from so many, but if I had to pick who you sound most like, I would say that you are the gospel version of Lil' Mo. Keeping singing and striving to to proclaim the word of God. You bring life to gospel music and you should go very far.

TaMyya J, born LaTasha Myya Johnson in New Jersey, USA is a singer; songwriter and arranger on her debut CD entitled "SUDDENLY" which features inspirational, contemporary and traditional genre.
In 1996, when TaMyya J was just 14 years old, her first introduction to the professional music industry was when she was honored the 1st place prize for the Youth Division at the McDonalds Gospelfest which was held at New York citys Madison Square Garden where she had the honor of appearing on stage with Karen Clark-Sheard, Timothy Wright and Hezekiah Walker. Since that time, she has ministered in song at events throughout the United States and has shared the stage as an opening act for or as a co-featured artist with many artists such as Deitrick Haddon, Kim Burrell, Mary Mary, Tye Tribbett & GA, Trinity 5:7, Donald Lawrence, Richard Smallwood, Bubby Fann, Natalie Wilson & SOP and Byron Cage just to name a few.
TaMyya J's focus is to spread the gospel across the world through the ministry of song, particularly to the young and young at heart. TaMyya J attends college in New Jersey studying as a paralegal, and as a church member, TaMyya J serves faithfully as a Praise & Worship Leader.
Her first single release "More Than Youll Ever Know" has reached the number one positions at radio stations across the country (WXEZ-FM, WIMG, WUSL-FM, WNAP, just to name a few), as well as number one on Internet radio stations. Number one positions on Download.com; Soundclick.com and was a "best seller" on Tower.com. The SUDDENLY project is available on CDBaby,com; Walmart.com and iTunes as well as other major internet distributors.
TaMyya J was also selected by Fashion Fair Cosmetics, a division of Johnson Publishing Company, publishers of EBONY and JET magazines and creators of the largest Black-owned cosmetics company in the world for women of color, selected to kick-off their Spring Cosmetic Campaign for Spring-2005 and Spring-2006 - by offering three songs from her CD as a gift to their valued customers and having TaMyya J appear at major departments stores on the east coast doing CD and autograph signings. TaMyya was special guest on Americas Anointed Talent Search for two years (2004 and 2005). She has ministered before the New Jerseys Mayor, the Philadelphia Mayor and the Philadelphia Historic Penns Landing events, Police Athletic League organizations and African Heritage Cultural Extravaganza. TaMyya J's ministry has served on community events such as The Safe-House Program in Champagne, Illinois where their program has a 95% success rate working with disadvantage, homeless and drug abused individuals.
TaMyya would say, I was singing before I could talk and I can't imagine a life without music. I believe that anointed music is what pleases God and pleasing Him is my desire. TaMyya J's gentle, giving spirit, only adds to the powerful gift she wholeheartedly offers to the world.
TaMyya J sings background for artist such as Billboard charted - John Gray, and is currently singing background for Grammy Award winners Mary Mary.
