From meek and meager beginnings in the deep-south, Houston’s own Tanika K is set to show the world why she’s on the rise to superstardom! As she’s ascended to higher heights, Tanika has accomplished what many only dream of. From gracing the world-renowned Apollo stage, to winning countless singing contests showcasing her sultry talent to the likes of even Grammy award-winning artists like Yolanda Adams, Tanika has proved that her richly, fine-tuned vocals are capable of capturing audiences all across the nation.

Born in Houston, Texas, Tanika comes from a family lineage of highly gifted vocalists. Her grandfather, Archie Bell of Archie Bell and the Drells, set the tone for what’s sure to come for Tanika with his #1 hit “Tighten Up”(1968). Her mother, Archie’s daughter, also shares both talent and the love of music that was intrinsically passed onto Tanika. At the tender age of 4, she began showcasing her talent in church and throughout her community. It was there that Tanika honed in on her exceptional musical stylings and acquired the ability to perform and entertain.

Tanika K’s Debut album “The Unveiling”, scheduled for release in 2011, will surely electrify the mainstream music world and establish her as a force to be reckon with.
