Tanner Lavallee

Tanner received his first guitar at the age of five, struck his first rock-and-roll pose ten minutes later, and after taking his first guitar lesson at the age of eight knew what he wanted to do with his life. While not a totally unique story, Tanner puts his own spin on the outcome in both his outlook on life, and through the music he writes and performs.

“It’s scary knowing what you want to do with the rest of your life when you’re only 16, when so many others my age simply worry about making it through the next week of school, but it keeps me motivated. There’s nothing else I want to do with my life.”

Tanner is making it happen, with three demos cut, an EP in production, and 90 minutes of original material and countless covers, he is already playing around the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. He played his first tour the summer of 2015 with dates in San Francisco, coastal North Carolina, Boston and New York. Plans for his 2016 tour are already under way, with dates planned in Boise, Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, Denver, Burlington (VT), Boston, New York, DC, and Chicago.
