Been together for the last 5 months(yet to give our band a name),our music's on the punk/alt/pop rock side.
We're an extremely committed & professional group of artists with a 21 year old keyboardist(me) ,a 27 year old guitarist Chris who also sings & writes songs & drummer Reno. We're searching for a bassist.
Our influences are everything from the Sex Pistols,The Clash,Ramones to Miles Davis,Beatles,Jimi Hendrix,Grateful Dead,Genesis,Santana,Queen,David Bowie and Wheather Report.
Our music is guitar based aggressive but at the same time we like to make it melodic with keyboard solos & rhythamic with drum solos. Also experiment with electronic sound samples. It's a bit old school, dark,camp&eccentric but at the same time original, & energetic.
Want to experiment and create as many new sounds as possible as we're an extremely enthusiastic, adventurous bunch of musicians.
I am typically influenced by old-school big band type heavily orchestrated music of Genesis,Miles Davis or Blood,Sweat and Tears but also love singers like Billy Joel,Nina Simone,Joni Mitchell,Neil Diamondand Janis Joplin.
I compose melodies,write songs and have given public performanes of my singing too.Have been pursuing music seriously since the last 5 years,can read and play classical music, but love to play chord based rock music as well.
The 3 tracks on audio are on the classical/show tunes side & have been performed by me as a solo artist.
We as a band are still in the process of recording some of our best stuff which as soon as it's ready will be on my EPK !!
