Bio
Tanya Williams is an executive on the rise with both creative and professional acumen. She is currently the General Manager of The F.I.R.M. (CEO/Jive A&R Consultant Kevin Shine), event coordinator for the annual F.I.R.M. Music Fest and a singing songwriter. Tanya has assisted in coordinating campaigns for independent recording artists and has executed public relations campaigns with the National Dairy Council and Ted Turner’s publicist, Phillip Evans, Jr. Tanya specializes in business development, project/event coordination and strategic branding.
As a songwriter she has worked with many of Atlanta’s greats, in their infancy. Tanya started her career as a member of a four-girl group who earned a Demo Deal with Elektra Records at 16 years old. She went on to perform demo recordings for The Dream, J. Que of The Clutch, and Akon; while developing her skills as a songwriter.
She is a graduate of Georgia State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with a Public Relations concentration. In her spare time, she is an avid blogger (www.tanyathewriter.com) who seeks to inspire others to do what they love.
