Bio

In a world of repetitious punk, teeth grinding rap, incoherent metal, and stomach turning emo, the music scene seems all but dead. Fortunately, we find hope in one of Connecticut newest bands, Tap Out. This band is what you call a melting pot of all the things that made mid 90's rock scene one of the greatest eras of music. With a blend of ska, punk, pop, alternative, and emo, these catchy and undeniable tunes are destined to be stuck in your head for the next 100 years. Tap Out originated in Storrs, CT with Angelo (guitar) and Jacob (bass) jamming together bringing together their own personal twist on a dying branch of music: ska. Talking to his old coworker, Jacob recruited Neepun, who was at the time involved with a jam band, to play drums for their new ska band. Angelo then met Tavis in and recruited him for saxophone, and Nicole would be added next to the horn line as their trumpet player. While practicing in a UConn dorm building Kyle happened to walk into the practice room to check them out while at that time he was looking for a ska band. Fate brought them together and Kyle became the singer of the group. From here, Tap Out was born. Keith (Trombone) later added his enormous musical talent to the woodwork and Tap Out became the new and improved force in the Ska/Punk Universe. With Powerful horn lines, ripping guitar and bass lines, thundering drum parts, and fun toe tapping lyrical messages, Tap Out has made it's mark on the New England Ska circuit. Tap Out has played with such bands as Catch 22, Zebrahead, FallOut Boy, and Punchline, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Big D and the Kid's Table and Lost City Angels
