Tara Elizabeth

Tara Elizabeth (TripStop) currently studies at Berklee College of Music as a Double Major in Contemporary Writing and Production and Music Business. She is interested in writing and producing popular music. Her writing style is eclectic and effective. Tara's work is her passion, and she collaborates with those who feel the same way.
Music has been an intricate part of Tara’s life since she was young, and she is grateful everyday for those once dreaded piano lessons which her mom made her start out with at such a young age. She believes that music has been proven effective as a “universal language” no matter how it may differ from place to place, and she hopes to use this universal language to gain fans and promote awareness – particularly an awareness regarding a history repeating itself through the genocide still occurring in Darfur. One of her recent developing idols, K’naan, has accomplished just that in regards to his home country of Somalia.
Tara is also extremely interested in the “business side” of music, which is evident through her involvement in her Music Business major at Berklee. She has visited a number of companies through Berklee’s MEISA club, and through these visits has sparked an interest in music publishing and licensing as well as the business of “brand marrying” through lifestyle companies and celebrity brokers like Cornerstone and Platinum Rye.
Tara, however, understands that these words are simply accessories to what really matters – her music. She believes that her music speaks for itself. So all she asks is for you to listen – just listen.
