Bio

I'm a singer-songwriter living in Nashville, TN. I moved here 2 years ago to promote my independent debut album, New Way Out. Through road gigs, performing here in Nashville, charity concerts and word of mouth I've sold the first pressing of, New Way Out. One cool story from being on the road happened in Orlando, Florida. I was singing in a large resort hotel when a group of people came in to join the audience. As it turned out, they were part of a wedding party and some guests from a reception going on in another section of the hotel. They heard me singing as they were walking down the hall, so they popped in the back of the room. I ended up singing a classic Hoagy Carmichael song, The Nearness Of You, while the bride and groom danced in front of the stage. It was very cool. Some of my influences have already passed on- Ray Charles, Elvis Presley, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra. Other artists that are still around are- Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt, Vince Gill, Norah Jones, Wynonna Judd...the list goes on, but those are some I love. I do feel I have a unique voice, in a good way, but you'll have to be the judge of that. There are so many artists out there today, I think it's important to have your own sound and style. Currently I'm writing material for my next album. I'm also hoping to pitch some of my tunes to film and/or t.v..
