The new Generation of Sahara
Never before have seven musicians had this much fun legally on making music in the middle of Sahara. They have participated with their desert blues in several great venues for a great crowd. Their music are inspired of Tinariwen, Tamikrest etc and these bands are known worldwide for their desert blues, since they manage to captivate and express the suffering of the Sahara people.
The new generation of Sahara - Tarwa N-Tiniri (which means The new generation of desert) are seven young musicians, singing their songs in berber language accompanied with guitar, harmonica, djembe and bass guitar. The band was founded in 2012. They refreshes the genre with energy and creativity. There are guitar solos which reminds about Jimi Hendrix’ and vocals with deep roots woven in the special desert blues rhythms.
