"Tash Anderson Featured Artist March 2013"

………………………………………………………………………………………………………

From Australia (Melbourne) Tash Anderson delivers to us her natural piano vibes and freshness.

………………………………………………………………………………………………………

When you listen to Tash Anderson’s songs it is like traveling along the journey of life . Songs such as “Suitcase”, “Overstayed Welcome”, “Bus Stop” and above all “Apple” a visual description about her love for the city of New York that she describes with an image of Eve who has found the forbidden fruit, the apple in the Garden of Eden The Apple, (Temptation) wrapped around her heart.

What are your main challenges today?

As an emerging singer songwriter my biggest challenge is getting my music heard by the right people. I know so many artists say “I was in the right place at the right time” when they were discovered but these days with the Internet there is now such a wealth of talent out there in cyberspace, it’s difficult to get your music to the right people and to convince people that they should listen to it.

What do you want to achieve with your music?

Intrinsically, I would be happy to write, play and sing my own music for the rest of my life as I believe that would be the best job in the world!

Singer Songwriter Tash Anderson has the Groov! to write very inspired songs. Each song is a story in itself.

Bio

Tash Anderson wrote her first song at the age of six and since then has developed a love of performing and songwriting. Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Tash's songs have been described as songs of substance, as they detail subjects from love, lost and heartbreak, to Australian indigenous affairs, to an original song about the BP oil spill disaster in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010.

Her influences include fellow Australian singer-songwriter Missy Higgins, Lana Del Ray, Norah Jones and Tori Amos and therefore her sound can be described as adult contemporary. She loves to write songs that have a positive affect on her listeners and writes about life experiences. Tash supports many causes such as breast cancer awareness and is also involved in the plight of children's cancer charity KOALA Kids.

Tash performs with confidence and professionalism and is evidently at home on stage singing and playing piano.
She is now focused on getting her music out in America and is currently recording, producing and writing her debut album due for release in September 2013.
