Ta-Styles was born in Bedford Stuyvesant, which is in Brooklyn,NY. He wrote his first rap when he was just 9 years old. Drawing on contemporary rap music with an appreciation for legends such as Tupac and Michael Jackson, Ta-Styles created his own unique brand of Hip Hop. One of his biggest influences was his father who was a rapper as well and was affiliated with Lil Cease and Junior M.A.F.I.A, the famous click of the legendary Notorious B.I.G.
