TaterVox started up in the early 1990's as a five piece indie folk rock group, with two guitars and three vocalists playing soft rock cover tunes and original music written by its founders.
Then the band added added a rhythm section -- drums, bass and keyboards.
In 2001 TaterVox released its first and only commercial album, titiled "Evolution". The album received some good reviews but had limited commercial success.
From 2001 to 2010 the band transformed itself into a classic rock cover band, playing music familiar to all audiences. The band was busy performing at festivals, community events, corporate functions and other venues across southern Ontario. We became noted for our philanthropic focus, playing to help fund raise for important charitable
causes ranging from national organizations such as the Canadian Cancer Society to individual families in need.
In 2010 we added the horn section, giving the band a powerful and original sound.
TaterVox is more than a great rock band. We are an extended network that includes our current members, past members, our families and friends. We are driven by our love of music and our caring for one another.
