Besides, this pianist, born in Olavarria, has played and recorded with Joe Lovano, Fats Fernandez, Charly García, Mono Fontana, Hugo Fattoruso, among others.
Between 2001 and 2005 he was part of Javier Malosetti’s trio and then he played the piano along with Pedro Aznar with whom he toured Latin America and Spain, apart from recording four albums. It’s been a long time since he has been composing and recording his own music. His first solo album is Dos Ríos. Nowadays, he plays with the Brazilian singer Tatiana Parra and at the same time he composes and plays with his own quartet. Fernando Silva (cellist born in Santa Fe), Víctor Carrión (saxophonist born in La Rioja) and Juan Pablo di Leone (flutist born in Buenos Aires), who have shared experiences with important figures representing folklore and the rhythms of Rio de la Plata as well as with the popular Brazilian music, flamenco and jazz.

THE DUET

Transiting through the forms of song and instrumental music, drawing on different languages (jazz, classical music, Argentinan folklore, Brazilian rhythms, ...), the duet Tatiana Parra (vocals) and Andrés Beeuwsaert (piano) performs his own compositions, and a repertoire by Latin American authors of various genres and times, as Carlos Aguirre, Sergio Santos, Francesca Ancarola, Edu Lobo, Hugo Fattoruso, Dori Caymmi, Eduardo Mateo, among others. Arrangements are made for four hands in the pursuit of aesthetic cohesion, originality, integration between text and melody, and deepening the dialogue between voice and piano.
The duo has been performing regularly, both in Brazil (Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro) and Argentina (Buenos Aires, La Plata, Blue, Olavarria, Mar del Plata), Uruguay (3rd Festival de Jazz de Mercedes).
The first album of the Duo, "Aqui" to be released in march 2011, is seeking the development of an own language that concentrates on the dissolution of boundaries between classical and popular, traditional and contemporary, singer and instrumentalist, arrangement and improvisation, the regional and universal.
