There are 8 band members of Tavella, playing flute/whistles/acoustic guitar/electric guitar/double bass/electric bass/drums/percussion/banjo(s)/mandola/mandolin/trombone/trumpet and all topped off with the passionate and spirited vocals of our lead singer.
What sets us apart is the variety, dynamics, experience and throbbing energy of our music. We are writing and performing our own tunes as well as inventing new and lively arrangements of older songs and tunes, using a wide range of instruments played by accomplished musicians. We have 8 very talented performers in the band, many of whom play different instruments throughout the set, to provide a dynamic and intriguing variety of sounds.
