WELCOME TO KHAOS EP is a 2018 collaboration project by Baltimore rapper Rahkai and Baltimore producer Tay Shakir that highlights the dark reality and mythos of the infamous city.
I did not know what to expect from this project, but what I received was an eloquent storytelling of a lifestyle all too familiar, layered with solutions and hopeful messages ready to invoke the listener for something better in their community, regardless of their residence in Baltimore City or not. - The Demo Tape
If anyone is a native of the infamous area, then they know the weight of the previous statement. The Baltimore Uprising of 2015 is a daily reality for Baltimore City natives, if not leagues worse. A dark reality like that does not happen overnight however, and Baltimore creatives Rahkai (Rapper) and Tay Shakir (Producer) capture the essence of the city’s problems as well as progressive solutions with their forthcoming collaboration EP, WELCOME TO KHAOS. - The Demo Tape

Baltimore Producer influenced by J Dilla, 9th Wonder, Kanye West, Q-Tip & others. Started producing while in High school and joined arts collective ICY Type Media, which focuses on the distribution of unapologetic arts from independent youth.
