TAYALA...
Are a BRAND NEW 4 piece band consisting of four friends/brothers from Yorkshire, all ages ranging between 20 and 26.
Playing together since August 2012 and PLAYING LIVE since November 2012.
Currently creating popular guitar/ dance influenced music taking influences from artists such as: Florence & the Machine, Coldplay, Calvin Harris, Ben Howard, tribes, Bon Iver and the list goes on.
TAYALA recorded their first demo sessions in October at Cottage Road Studios Leeds, the same studio used and operated by members of the Kaiser Chiefs, The Crookes and The Pigeon Detectives with producers Andy Dawkins and Matt Peel. The two tracks recorded were 'Ignite' and 'Rearrange Me' both released as free downloads via bandcamp and soundcloud in September and already had over 1000 downloads despite the short length of time the band has been active .
Although TAYALA have only been playing live for a mere 2 months they have managed to play in various cities such as Manchester, London, Liverpool, Leeds, Hull and York supporting the likes of: The 1975, Reptile Youth, Kazabian and Exit Calm.
TAYALA will continually strive to make music for a particular audience and that audience is everyone. Creating music that universally connects people from all ages, all walks of life and all parts of the world.
