'This is a first play for Taylor Lally. Taylor Susan Lally to give her full name. She's from Millisle, in County Down, here in Northern Ireland. This is the very first single Bliss-Less Musing Life. She has been playing away in bars since the age of seventeen, getting her style together, getting her act together and is delighted to get this first track out. I'm delighted to receive it and delighted to share with you now' - Ralph McLean
“The County Down countryside raised songwriter released her first single this month, a hazy, soulful tale of Lally’s dreams and becoming the person she wanted to become. A little bit of late night peace and love in this one” - Aaron Cunningham

Bio
Taylor Lally of Belfast, Northern Ireland grew up in County Downs’ countryside, neighbouring a small seaside village, Millisle. She showed a great passion for music from a young age, enjoying tin whistle and clarinet lessons in school. Her delighted father bought her first guitar for Christmas in 2011 hoping she would carry on the family hobby another generation. She became enchanted with the sound and started writing her own songs, inspired by songwriters, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, and Bob Marley in her teens.
From the age of 17, Taylor played in pubs and clubs around the Belfast and Bangor area as her main job and feels keeping music central to her life has developed her skills highly. She went on to study music performance in college and a degree in songwriting at BIMM Dublin and Brighton to develop her practice and technical skills. Taylor’s style as a singer has been compared to Rikki-Lee Jones, and as a guitarist to John Martyn.
Taylor recently supported Steve Forbert and Mary Coughlan where she received standing ovations at Coughlan's Black Box show in December 2021 and 22. After a year of arranging and recording her compositions she's excited to release more music in 2023, and to finally announce headline shows.
