Taylor Alexander, a blues/rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio, have grown a strong local following. With a catalog ranging from songs to woo your girlfriend by, to funky tunes that make you want to get up and shake it, there's no question why. Alex Carruthers (lead vocals and guitar), Seth Huff (bass), and Stefan Wright (drums), three close friends and roommates, make up this talented trio.
Each band member has played music their entire adult life, but the first time they got together as a group, the band opened for Trevor Hall at The Southgate House. According to Alex Carruthers, "the show was sold out and the energy was amazing. It was one of the best shows ever." As house band at The Drinkery, in February 2012, Taylor Alexander has grown and continues to develop their fan base in their hometown.
Alexander sites a combination of John Mayer and Freddie Mercury as influences, from a guitar and vocal standpoint but committed to an original sound.
