Taylor Heard is an award-winning singer/songwriter from a small town in East Texas. She recently won the prestigious John Ritter Showcase in Carthage, Texas. This competition earned her the title "Texas Country Music Hall of Fame Representative for 2013". Taylor also won the People's Choice Award at the showcase which meant so much coming from the audience of such a respectable event. She was thrilled to share the stage with a long list of Opry greats such as Linda Davis, T.G. Shepherd, Jeannie Seely, Jim Ed Brown , Johnny Rodriquez, T. Graham Brown, David Frizzell and more! In 2010, Taylor was the winner of Neal McCoy's competition for his East Texas Angel Network in Longview, Texas which earned her the opportunity to perform in Branson, Missouri during one of Neal's shows!

Taylor's journey has been filled with many opportunities which include: working with Victoria Shaw (hit songwriter, artist and producer), co-writing with Don Rollins ("It's Five O'Clock Somewhere") and Doug Drake, performing with Randy Travis, and opening for Texas artist Stoney LaRue. Taylor recognizes the blessing she's been given to work with some of the best in the industry at such a young age. In a recent interview she gave credit to them, " Not only are they phenomenal talent, but they have mentored me and had an impact on how I interpret music," she said.

Taylor's latest project is due out in the summer of 2013 which will be enjoyable to all ages as she inspires you to dance, laugh and reflect on life like never before!

Taylor also enjoys giving back and is involved in several charitable organizations, such as Sally's Hope, Night of Superstars and The Boot Campaign, as well as, reaching out to people in need in her own hometown. She has a deep spiritual commitment to service. "I have such a huge desire in my heart to help and if I can accomplish that through my music, it makes it all the more worthwhile." Taylor further says, "With God's guidance and support from family and fans, there's no telling what great things will come!"
