Bio

M Taylor Pace grew up in a very musical family. His father and mother where the first musicians from his native town of Fort Worth, Texas to receive national acclaim from their gospel album (The second being gospel superstar and family friend Kirk Franklin). Taylor began singing at an early age and had his first appearance on television at the age of 6 singing on a commercial for the grocery store chain Tom Thumb with the rest of his family. Growing up in a home with a talented and well respected gospel pianist/organist for a father and one of the best gospel vocalist in the region for a mother Taylor had already knew how to wow a crowd with his uniquely strong voice. However at the 13 he began studying classical piano with a former Van Cliburn competition finalist and was a natural at the piano. Before attending college Taylor had already performed on stage at Bass Hall, Fort Worth's premiere performance hall, as well as appeared in numerous newspaper articles and magazines. The Summer before he entered Howard University on a music scholarship he won 3rd place at the NAACP National ACT-SO competition in contemporary instrumental performance. While at Howard Taylor performed with many Jazz greats from Benny Golson & Jimmy Heath to Geri Allen and Wallace Roney. In his first year at Howard he was the only freshman student selected to play in the International Association of Jazz Educator's All Star HBCU Big Band which debuted in Long Beach California. While playing with the world reknown Howard University Big Band Taylor played 2 tours in Japan and recorded 6 albums with the band as well as 3 other albums with local artist in the Washington D.C. area. After getting his bachelors degree in jazz piano performance Taylor soon found himself playing first keyboards for RnB singer Mya. During his stint with Mya he traveled as far as Moscow, Russia performing spot dates. Soon after Mya M Taylor Pace began playing first keyboard with RnB superstar Mario and well as the gospel group The 7 Son's of Soul. While working with Mario and the 7 Son's of Soul Taylor appeared on BET's longest running gospel show Bobby Jones Gospel as well as the Hip Hop top 40 show 106 & Park. He's traveled all around the United States , Japan, and Europe delivering superb performances wherever he goes. And now at the age of 26 he has developed his own sound that is moving crowds everywhere he steps on stage.
