"Who Is America’s Got Talent 2013 Finalist Taylor Williamson?"

When you think of first-cousins getting it on — and you probably shouldn’t be thinking of that at all, FYI — the first name to probably come to mind is Taylor Williamson. Indeed, the America’s Got Talent 2013 Top 6 finalist has a hilarious joke about learning that his grandparents were first cousins. Yikes. But just who is Taylor Williamson?

Taylor was only 26 when he auditioned for AGT but has been doing stand-up comedy for ten years. He grew up outside of San Diego and now lives in Los Angeles. And this isn’t his first brush with TV stardom, as he was the youngest person to ever perform stand-up on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.

You may also remember him as a semifinalist from the final season of NBC’s Last Comic Standing. And you probably don’t remember him from his appearance on MTV’s TRL, since he appeared just two weeks before the no longer buzzed-about show was canceled. Ah, TRL.

His road to the Top 6 has had a couple bumps. To advance out of the quarterfinals, Taylor was up against Chloe Channell, with the judges deciding whom to put through. When the judges were tied, the audience vote luckily went Taylor’s way. And who can forget Finals Week 1, when Howard and Howie refused to let Mel speak, since they knew she didn’t have praise for him!

But now Taylor is on a roll, with Howard calling him a true “contender” last night. Are you a Taylord who wants more T-Will? He has a CD available through iTunes, called Laughter? I Hardly Know Her!, and he hosts a podcast called Serious Time. Just try not to think too much about his gene p - WetPaint.com

Bio

Hi I’m Taylor. I’m a comedian and the Runner Up of this year's AMERICA’S GOT TALENT! (#2 is gross). I started performing stand-up comedy while I was a senior in high school in Del Mar, California. I now live in Los Angeles and travel the globe (if you don’t count countries other than America and Canada) telling jokes. I’ve performed at the prestigious JUST FOR LAUGHS COMEDY FESTIVAL in Montreal, Canada and I was the youngest comedian to ever perform on THE LATE LATE SHOW WITH CRAIG FERGUSON.
