Taylr expresses herself through the music of soul.
Her melodies set her apart from other soul singers while keeping in time with her favorites like "Ella Fitzgerald," "Aretha Franklin," and "Lauryn Hill." Her lyrics celibrate her fight against depression and other challenges in her life. Her debut cd is about over getting through a eating disorder that brought her down to below 100lbs. Now she so happy about being free from perfection that she has called her cd "INTERVENTION" For those who have stepped in to help her. Now she wants to help other girls her age by writting about her relationships and struggles of being young. It was producer Cori Jacobs (Lauryn Hill, Pussycat dolls, Beyonce), who noteced her talent and told her that if she stayed healthy, he would help her.
