Vocalist Tiffany Cotton has been preparing for a career in music her entire life. She began taking dance lessons at six, made her first recording at age 12. She began penning her own lyrics at 16. By 17 she had already opened up for Twista, Newsense, and Crucial Conflict. At 18 she briefly attended Columbia College to major in Music Business. In the intemittent years she has performed in her school, church and wherever she could. Cotton gathered valuable experience as director of her church choir and choreographer/dancer for several local artists.

Cotton met producer N. Fina-T in April 2008 and began recording within two weeks. "We just had an immediate understanding," N. Fina-T remembers. "I never had that type of synergy with anyone before. We just have an empirical meeting of the minds that I know rarely happens." The pair have since become prolific collaborators, now putting the finishing touches on her 100% Cotton EP, due out in mid-October.
