Huge shout out to Brooklyn Emcee (1/4 of Team Swerve) Holly Starks for the release of his latest music video entitled Focus! The track is the first single released from his recently released solo mixtape Planting The Seed which is formulating a good amount of buzz!
The incredibly clean visuals were captured by New York based production company Prime Cut and it features Holly delivering some noticeable bars along side the sexy model Mydi (she sure is mighty alright!). The concept of the song is simple but not short from brilliant, it was shot in a style to literally illuminate Holly’s slogan of “Breeks & Henny” and to test the Focus of the audience by purposely creating various zoomed in blurred shots. Also look out for the next single to be released called Model 4 me which he partnered up with Team Swerve accomplice Harlem’s own Kay Fly to create. Rising Brooklyn hip-hop artist Holly Starks, aka Duane Hollywood Wallace, has thrown his hat into a new project, Team Swerve. Things started up early 2010, when Wallace joined up with Derrick Swerve and Hoffa Billz to produce some old school rolls in Swervy. By then now forming a team, Wallace brought in Kayfly, whom he featured on the single Better Off. This is a performance of their newest single, Get Busy, released early 2011.
