Bio

Tears of Autumn is five piece band from south central Pennsylvania that formed in November 2005 from the ashes of a few other local music projects. Brandon and Josh started the foundation of Tears of Autumn on guitar when they broke away from their old band Five Times Again. They met up with Russell, a bass player from another local band who had recently broken up. Russell, Brandon, and Josh were approached by Chris, a drummer at a local football game asking to tryout. After the first jam session they all knew all that was needed was a vocalist. After a few people tried out for to be TOA’s vocalist, Dave came around and made a perfect fit for Tears of Autumn. Since that moment, Tears of Autumn was born and they haven’t paused since.

From the day Tears of Autumn was born, they have been relentlessly practicing and writing songs and improving on each of their own musicianship’s along the way. They draw inspiration from many different types of music and have started to create their own unique sound. They have written a bunch of strong songs and recently demoed five songs at Zaring Productions in Middleburg, Pennsylvania.

Tears of Autumn have played a few shows since their inception. They have played at any place that has offered them a chance to play. Tears of Autumn played at Penn State York for a 24 hour dancethon for the Four Diamonds Foundation and have played at Nation in Washington, DC for the eXposure battle of the bands. During these shows they have developed a strong belief that a performance is not just about the aural senses but the visual stimulation that accompanies the sound. They have been creating a strong set between the music and stage performance to showcase at every show.

Tears of Autumn, still in the infancy chapter of its existence, began growing the day the band was formed and has showed no signs of stopping. Ready to take the next step, they are starting their own chapter in music history.
