Bio

It was 1997 John Carpenter was sick of the cover band scene. He turned to a friend and Tears of Rage co-founder Alan Barnett. Telling him that he was to play bass and their roommate John ”Jay” Musclemen would do vocals. With there starting lineup set. Tears of Rage did their first show at Never on Sundays in Silverton, Ohio. After the show John, Alan, and Jay felt that something was missing. Jay knew this Guitarist Nikki Clemet. We checked her out. They went to Nikki’s house the next day and once they heard her play. They found the missing piece to the puzzle. Nikki joined Tears Of Rage the next day and got to work on writing songs and preparing to play live. With the T.O.R. Line up now complete they started playing and dominating the Cincinnati, Ohio local metal scene. Everything was looking great for this up incoming metal band, but the fall of 1998 Jay and Nikki left the band to prose a personal relationship. In the 2000 John and Alan shelved Tears Of Rage to get back to it later. In early Jan 2001 John and Alan was ready to try Tears of Rage once again. They recruited Aaron Cornelius on Guitar. They started to play out. Aaron decided to leave the band in 2002. Tears Of Rage was once again with out a guitarist. Things were looking bleak for TOR. When a long time T.O.R. Soldier Eric Hoover spoke up and said that Alan should play guitar and he would play bass.
Eric Joined Tears Of Rage in fall 2002. T.O.R. got right to work writing new material and preparing to play out. Tears Of Rage now practices and records at Inn My Mind Studios. They are now pumping out the sound that you beat the shit out of someone to.
