Bio Tears was born Calvin A. Goins. He started rhyming almost twenty years ago during his elementary years. Much the same way the Neptunes and Outkast work together, the music is a unique blending of there musical influences and in the case of Pistol and Tears it has the sonic passion of Hendrix, P-funk, free jazz and hard core rap and Hip-Hop. Tears was reared on listening to artists like Marvin Gaye who inspired him to get involved in making music. The name Tears originated because when he's rapping and changing his affliction and pitch in his voice he sounds like he's crying when performing.
