Born April 1997 and drumming since 2001, Teddy Sidiropoulos who takes the stage name "TeddyZ" is quickly emerging as a buding young talent.
TeddyZ's drumming roots began early playing on the kitchen floor on the family pots and pans. Trading in the pots and pans for a practice pad and a pair of drumsticks, Teddy quickly began tapping out complex rhythmic patterns with a quickness and precision that was uncanny for that of a 4 year old child.
Taking drum lessons starting at age 5 from Berklee graduate John Horrigan, his drumming and music reading ability has been, simply put, astonishing. Playing and performing college level material by the age of 7, Teddy is still only 9 years old!
TeddyZ's drumming styles include jazz, rock, latin, R&B, funk, country, fusion, progressive rock as well as polyrhythms.
He also plays the xylophone and is currently studying piano in preparation for Berklee College of Music which he hopes to attend someday.
