Lyrics

Rose Hill

Written By: Ted Needham

I’m headed off to Rose Hill
To hear sweet music play
Get back to my southern roots
Need to go and stay the day

There are Angels up at Rose Hill
They make the music sweet
Old blues and country music
With an awesome southern beat

I just need to get away
Need to find some peace
Need to find and inner glow
Far away from the city streets

Getting back to Rose Hill
Will be like finally going home
Seems I been away so long
Got to get where I belong

I can almost see the Angels
Playing on the Rose Hill Lawn
Want to hear that Mountain Jam
And party until dawn

All that glory at Rose Hill
Next to the whippin’ post
Maybe sit and eat a peach
With all the southern ghosts

It’s quiet now at Rose Hill
The ghosts have faded away
What a joy to finally find my peace
I’ve come home to stay

Two As One

Written By: Ted Needham

Thought my life was so complete
I never needed anyone
Working hard to compete
Keep from coming undone

I saw you and began to melt
You knew exactly how you felt
Never thought I would find you
Never thought love was true

Two as One
Taught me about forever
Two as One
We will be together
Two as One
Two as One

Lonely souls began to grow
Intertwined into what we know
Facing truths from afar
Learning who we really are

Two as one
Came to us at night
Two as one
Blinded by the light
Two as one
Two as one

Now we stand here together
Making plans for forever
Never to come undone
Two as one Two as One

Two as One
Taught us about forever
Two as One
Always be together
Two as One
Two as One
Two as One
We’ve only just begun

Carousel

Written By: Ted Needham

I’ve been riding on this train for way to long
I’ve been rounding on this carousel something’s wrong
I wish someone would rescue me
I just want to be set free

Sitting here thinking on this plane since I left today
Feeling so homesick think I’ve lost my way
Bourbon and vodka will help to ease the pain
Feeling like hell when I wake up and do it again

Going in circles pretending everything is fine
Searching for the one thing that I can really call mine
Seeing where I am and everything just looks the same
Wonder if I can ever really say I am sane

Riding on this plane to places I’ve never been
Seems I‘ve been gone since I don’t know when
I want someone to take me home
I am so tired of being alone

Carousel keeps rounding everything looks the same
Destinations come and go like a moth to a flame
Wish I could change things
Only myself to blame

Going in circles pretending everything is fine
Searching for the one thing that I can really call mine
Seeing where I am and everything just looks the same
Wonder if I can ever really say I am sane
