Still working on that hot first release.

Born and raised in the central valley of California, Ted Nunes began writing songs at the age of 18 when he picked up the guitar for the first time. Self taught on a park bench in Visalia California Ted taught himself to play, Bob Dylan, Grateful Dead, Neil Young, Woodie Guthrie, and other songs written by classic songwriters.

Rooted in american folk songwriting that has been influenced by the sound of americana and country, Ted spends most his days with a cup of coffee and his songbook.

"Writing daily keeps things fresh", he explains. "I doesn't matter how good, bad, wonderful, sad the song is the important aspect to remember is that you are writing. Nothing bad comes out of writing a song."

After spending countless hours on a suburban park bench where kids skip class and the homeless corrupt the young, Ted Nunes decided to begin performing in small bars and coffee shops. It wasn't until he began playing these small venues that he developed a love of performing. "I've always loved sharing music with people. Songs aren't usually finished until they are shared".

It was during these performances where the next logical step was to head into a recording studio. "Living in Visalia there were quite a few musicians around and everyone was recording. Any given night of the week you could listen to musicians/bands like Nik Freitas, Matt Suggs, Motel Drive(Cacti Widders) practicing and recording above the local bars on Main St.

"The goal of all of this is to write, record, share and repeat. It really doesn't get much simpler than that".
