Tee Jay, born Terrence Mack from the city that never sleeps, New York
City is certainly not a rookie, when it comes to the rap game and soon
plans on proving that. Now residing in Iowa, Tee Jay has combined the
fast life of the streets of New York and the relaxed humbleness in Cedar
rapid, Iowa. Fusing all his favorite rappers with a simple 4/4 flow
with the occasional complex refreshing rhyme scheme, his topics engender
urban appeal: Love, the up brings of a city youth, and the black experience in America. When you think of Tee Jay, New York City’s Time Square is exactly what should come to mind- the determination, the hustle, and the swag. He grew up on a steady diet of Notorious B.I.G, Jay Z, Kanye West among others, he also says Drake is one of his
biggest influences. His debut mixtape ‘More For Me, Less For You stylistically, the tape pays homage to Kanye West’s College Dropout in one breath and modern New York futuristic flow in the next. As one newcomer in the game with a style that can only be referred to as, a force to be reckon with. Tee Jay reveals his struggles though his
