We are a hard rock ensemble that takes influences from all over the map, creating an overall new and unique sound that the audience loves.

Biography

T.R.B. (The Random Band) is a hard rock ensemble based in Cranston, Rhode Island. They were the winners of the 2008 Hendricken Spring Battle Of the Bands, and were chosen as one of 12 bands to compete in the 2010 WXIN Rock Hunt. In 4 weeks, they managed to quickly gain in rank in the 2010 Ernie Ball Battle Of The Bands (in the running for the Mansfield, MA date of the 2010 Van's Warped Tour) from dead last when 1st signed up to top 40 out of hundreds.

Currently unsigned, T.R.B. is preparing for studio time in order to produce an EP, followed by their first full length album, Two Way Mirror, which is a hard rock concept album about a soldier's change of heart, and the reprecussions of his actions.

T.R.B. uses their live shows as means to be more progressive and unique, impressing and wowing the audience while still keeping them deeply and pleasently entertained. Their songs, which are heavily influenced by bands and artists such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, the Grateful Dead, Muse, U2 and Metallica, are generally well liked and original. With most of their songs differing in style and mood, their music is guaranteed to please any audience they play for (as proven by the reaction of all of their previous audiences).

Starting out several years before while the founding members were in their final year of middle school, T.R.B. has gained a growing following of both high school and college students, who are faithful fans that support them however they can (as evident by T.R.B.'s large draw at gigs, as well as their rapid progression in the Ernie Ball BOTB).

George, the frontman, singer, and guitarist for the band, composes almost all of the music the band performs, and is currently in the process of composing a classical-inspired album, as well as a musical. Primarily blues and hard rock influenced, his overall guitar skills have recieved praise by many. Justin Burde, the band's other guitarist, is influenced by everything from shred to jazz, and always impresses a crowd with his unfathomable ability to make his guitars sing. Laura, the band's bassist, is influenced by both funk, jazz, and the 80's heavy metal revolution, the combination of which gives her a unique style and sound which singles her out amongst bassists her age. And lastly, Ethan, the drummer, is widely considered to be one of the best drummers of his age. Not one person, after hearing and watching him play, has failed to be impressed. He is a versatile drummer that can play any genre put before him with ease, and is a perfect addition to the overall sound of T.R.B.

1001 Arabian Nights

Written By: George DesRoches

Civilization has left me here forever.
Living but dying. My blood runs cold.
I need to find a way to get me out of this haze
the dust is blinding and the sun is driving me insane.
I still dont know what I have done
But now i'm living on the run From an enemy that i can’t detain.
It's to hard to speak. Im getting weak. I need some sleep.
Why wont you HELP ME!

I want to get out cause it's hard to keep breathing.
But i know right now that IM NOT LEAVING!

1001 Arabian Nights.
A curse and a fight for your life.
1001 lost days in the sun.
I dont know why but now im on the run.

Will you tell me what’s keeping me from living
Just like you do. I need to know.
Kicked out of my home, now forever I roam
The dusty hills that I now call home.
Praying for some shade, knowing I was played
The joke they pulled upon me hurts me every fucking day.
Where will I go? I just don’t know,
I just keep moving forward else I’ll end up 6 below.

I just wish to say im sorry.
Wondering what I did could BE!

1001 Arabian Nights.
A curse and a fight for your life.
1001 lost days in the sun.
I dont know why but now im on the run.

[solo]

1001 Arabian Nights.
A curse and a fight for your life.
1001 lost days in the sun.
I dont know why but now im on the run.

Black Wolf

Written By: George DesRoches

Hey there, can’t you see
What the green has done to me?
Made me a monster and then poisoned my mind.
Fought from up above,
Soaring high, white like a dove.
Lost all my emotion, soon with none left to find.
Fight for army green,
Told me not to make a scene,
Change of heart aroused me to the point in this game.
Now I’m on the run
With a loaded tommy gun
Black wolf was my name, now they just call me insane!

Im just trying to stifle my pain
The army green is back, I’ve better watch my back,
But what’s worth fighting for while always running from attack!

The black wolf is crying now,
The black wolf is near.
The black wolf is at the crossroads,
The black wolf is here.
The black wolf is calling for you,
The black wolf is red.
The black wolf is shot and limping.
The black wolf is dead!

Think back on memories,
Times that I wish to see
Clouded by agony and hidden by the milit'ry
But when im feeling blue
Im thinking back on you
And what you told me which reminded me of sanity.
And when I flew again,
The feeling’s not the same,
Why was I up there, causing anger and death?
That’s when I changed my mind,
And now on, from that time,
The army wants me gone, and I’ve got nothing left!

I’m dying, in need of some rest.
A fugitive of green, my actions rarely seen,
I’m losing the fight, though I’m trying my fucking best!

The black wolf is crying now,
The black wolf is near.
The black wolf is at the crossroads,
The black wolf is here.
The black wolf is calling for you,
The black wolf is red.
The black wolf is shot and limping.
The black wolf is dead!

Subtle Delay

Written By: George DesRoches

I've seen the starry skies before the coming rain
They remind me of your eyes while flooding up with pain,
and though the agony that you may feel may keep you in a daze,
Just listen to the music and escape the darkened haze.

The letters pile up, and the bottles still remain.
You nearly overdosed, and it's driving me insane,
'Cause, though the drugs you do provide a momentary break from all the worst,
They cant provide the comfort for what really hurts.

So, we're taken away; oh please baby stay, else your spirit will wander day after day, because in this silence there's a subtle delay. The things said and done will linger...

The letters pile up, and the bills are never paid.
You cut the phone cord 'cause you wanna live away
from all the agony and misery that people tend to find
in the most unlikely moments and the very worst of times.
You curse under your breath; everything's gone, there's no one left.
The system's failed you time and time again, and in the end,
you have failed to find an ounce of worth in all the things you've done since birth
Well let me show you, let you see that there is more than what you see!

So, we're taken away; oh please baby stay, else your spirit will wander day after day, because in this silence there's a subtle delay. The things said and done will linger...

Live:
Recorded: But let me tell you, you have not just lived in vain. You taught me how to love and how to feel pain, and now there's no way i can repay you now my life is near an end, so let me tell you something, my one and only, my best friend:

(in background: "na na nanana")

So, we're taken away; oh please baby stay, else your spirit will wander day after day, because in this silence there's a subtle delay. The things said and done will linger

and there's nothing you can say.
Don't you hide away.
People care for you
every single day
Don't you tumble down
Put that bottle down
Don't you drown your pain
Keep your feet on the ground (and)
Put that bottle down...

(Backup 1): na na nanana (repeating)
(Backup 2): You're falling, and falling, still falling, and falling (repeating)

Flightplan

Written By: George DesRoches

There’s nothing left but a memory of times where things seemed to make sense.
In my experience, life, it seems, comes at a million more lives’ expense.
The constant struggle of my heart and my mind keeps my thoughts desensitized.
I push the throttle, hold my breath, and light the fire deep inside!

Flying high, up in the air, destruction in my wake;
With all this death, my mind, it seems, is just about ready to break…
There’s nothing more I can take!

But, hey; there’s nothing to say.
It’s just another flightplan, another day.
We all drop the bombs as your children play.
There’s nothing to say, so with nothing to say,
We all say “hey, there’s nothing to say.
With another flight plan, we have no say”
We give you our falls at the end of the day.
With nothing to say, we all fly away.
With Nothing to say.

What has happened 'cause of all of this? It seems my mind’s been sent to hell.
Just the hearing of my distant roar is like the fated chime of the knell.
With all my sorrows buried deep inside, and my mind just ready to blow,
In my plane, I go again, ready to lock and load!

With my darkest flames now burning bright in the midst of all my pain,
The feeble thoughts and fools in life are taken in this game.
And all the thoughts within my head make my evils come alive.
I push the throttle, hold my breath, and light the fire deep INSIDE!!!!!!

[solo]

But, hey; there’s nothing to say.
It’s just another flightplan, another day.
We all drop the bombs as your children play.
There’s nothing to say, so with nothing to say,
We all say “hey, there’s nothing to say.
With another flight plan, we have no say”
We give you our faultss at the end of the day
With nothing to say, we all fly away.
I’m sorry!
I’m sorry!

Listen To The Music

Written By: George DesRoches

What do you do, when you don’t know how to fend?
Lying in the sunbeam, never knowing now from then.
All the lights of bombs are blazing in the sky above.
You just walk on by, numb to all the death around you, love.

Heaving a sigh, trying not to cry at all the pain;
Losing touch, as the needle enters in your vein.

Lift up your head as you hear the ground
And the music of life as it flows around.
Drift away with with the sultry sound
Of the world and the beauty you have found.
Close your eyes and float away,
To return another day.
When in life, you have no say
Just let the music take you away.

Crimson light fills your bedroom with despair.
Weeping for the ones you lost but not shedding a tear.
Lying on your bed, you wish he lived and you died instead.
Given anything for just one chance to see him again.

War-like cries make the sane men go insane.
Losing touch, as the needle enters in your vein.

Lift up your head as you hear the ground
And the music of life as it flows around.
Drift away with with the sultry sound
Of the world and the beauty you have found.
Close your eyes and float away,
To return another day.
When in life, you have no say
Just let the music take you away.

[solo]

Lift up your head as you hear the ground
And the music of life as it flows around.
Drift away with with the sultry sound
Of the world and the beauty you have found.
Close your eyes and float away,
To return another day.
When in life, you have no say
Just let the music take you away.

Where Do We Go From Here?

Written By: George DesRoches

I gaze through darkness till my wall comes into view.
Alone, upon my bed, I stare and feel things so new.
And in amazement, I do lay upon my bed, with
Feelings of abandonment flying through my head

Another person come and gone out of my life,
Another pigment in my portrait fading white.
And in the end I feel that I’m the one at fault
But I won’t cry, no I won’t.

So let the strings play melodies of all we’ve done
I wouldn’t mind to hear them play just one more song
But still, I wonder where do we all go from here?
This new epiphany doth strike me full of fear.

I ponder darkly at my future yet to come.
I cry so lonely cursing all that I have done.
And in the end I feel that I’m the one at fault.
But I won’t cry, no I won’t.

My blood is feeling cold, my body getting thin.
My mind, it aches me, simply telling me my sin.
Forever in reflection on my course in life,
No matter what I do, I never see the light.

I always thought that death would simply be the end.
But here I wait in darkness, screaming to amend.
And in the end I feel that I’m the one at fault.
But I won’t cry, no I won’t.

And now the end is past, and still I’m all alone…
Left to cry in the unknown…
All alone…
In this void that I call home…
A loneliness I’ve never known…
Forever…alone…

Dreams

Written By: George DesRoches

No matter what I do or say
My time is going fast.
My life is fading now
As sand falls in my hour glass.
My sanctuary’s gone.
My last chance has been blown.
My will is disappearing, wondering why am I still here!
When will my lucky moment come?
When will I die or have some fun?
These thoughts attack me like a thief under a loaded gun.
I’m just wishing for the end;
Consciousness my only friend.
Just like a leaf in the wind, so goes my life and my

Dreams.
My dreams.
So goes my life and my dreams.

The stress of life’s taken its toll.
I see the end ahead.
I can do naught but pray that
Pretty soon I will be dead.
When will my time be here?
My dreams have not been clear
If I don’t die real soon,
I’m likely to break into tears.
I wasted all my chances;
Gone away for sweet romances;
Came back up for fights and dances;
(I) lost my will for flight and stances.
My denouement just isn’t sweet.
I wanna be knocked of my feet.
My passion scraped away.
I’ve wasted all my life chasing my

Dreams.
My Dreams.
So goes my life and my dreams.

The end has finally come.
No more time under the sun.
No other chances to have fun.
My life is FINALLY DONE!

[solo 1]

[solo 2]

What have I done? What have I seen?
This is not the pleasant dream I wanted!
All my schemes have come back for me!
How do I fix my pain?
Life in hells will drive me insane!
Will my heart let me SEE!!!!!!!

I KNOW YOUR DREAMS!
I’VE SEEN THESE SCHEMES!
I KNOW WHAT MEN ASPIRE FOR;
WHAT WE TIRE FOR;
All IN NAME OF LOVE AND GLORY
ALL THE GLORY
LIVING FOR THE THRILL OF FEAR AND PAIN!!!!

Just like a leaf in the wind, so went my life and my
Dreams.
My dreams.
So went my life and my dreams…
