Teesha

Latiesha, Latin origin meaning Joy/Happiness, born Latiesha Rainford in Mandeville Manchester on August 24, 1991. Based on the name given, she is a person full of joy and happiness in whatever she does and puts her mind to. TEESHA developed the love of music at a very tender age, listening to her aunt singing each day as she grows up to have the talent she always wished for, the ability to sing. She started off showing her talent in church just like many other recording artistes.

In the year 2008 she got the chance of working with her first producer, Sanjay" Dj Freeze" Pennant, who gave her the opportunity of doing her first recording of the song "Wine Me" in collaboration with Ricardo "Ricky Real" Francis of Mandeville. This song got its numerous airplays show casing her talent as a singer. TEESHA decided to continue with music as her career as she grew to love music even more.

As she continues to push herself, she made every effort of getting recognition from anyone who is willing to work with her as she takes her music very seriously. Indeed she did get her recognition by the CEO of Sincerity Records, Gawaine Allen in Mandeville, of a gospel music production. Throughout her time being a part of this production, she became a backing vocal for Gospels artistes such as Ancient Priest, Horace Mason, Ryan Mark, Tiffany Hall and more. They were amazed of her talent and decided to push her as a solo artiste. TEESHA did many heart rending performances at different events held in a few parishes around the island. Sadly, she decided to leave this production to venture off elsewhere.

TEESHA did not give up or hold back, she continued on recording more songs for her promotion as well as releasing her Debut mixtape entitled “Mysterious Seduction” in November 2012 which featured a few upcoming artistes. She then released her first music video in December 2012 for the “Got It Good Remix” Ft. Mr. Maddadan, a Bena Production. TEESHA is currently working with multiple music production teams locally and internationally. She is hoping to get the chance of getting signed one day.

Apart from her love of music, TEESHA found interest in dancing, drawing and modelling. She was accepted to Jade International Modelling Agency located in Mandeville, Manchester and will also be pursuing it as a part time career. As her motto states, "with God all things are possible"; yes it may be a lot that she has in mind but knows she can and will fulfil them all successfully.
