Terrell “Tee Time” Boyd

At the age of 15, Tee Time discovered that his ability to paint a picture with words and sync the pain of his heart to the beat of Hip Hop would lead him on a musical journey. Born Terrell Boyd, Tee Time had to face many family hardships, growing up in a single mother household with siblings was not easy. Tee Time would use writing lyrics to settle his childhood frustrations,
his only social interactions would be free-styling at lunch time or in between classes, and spitting his lines to any open ear that would listen.

Tee Time knew that being an artist was in his bones after his first performance at a family gathering, where his grandfather commended him for brilliant poetry and a tactical choice of words. Admired by local artists, he is respected for the fact that he gets his point across without the use of profanity.

With raw talent and the ability to capture the emotions of his fans, Tee Time proves the amount of heart he puts into his music fills the void of what is missing in Hip Hop today; true poetry, the art of storytelling and insight to an industry that no longer sends inspiring messages as it once did. Tee Time’s music is both inspirational and thought provoking. He is not afraid to touch on subjects the deal with daily struggles. His music is still relevant enough to make songs that encourage chasing the bounties of success, while having fun and living life to the fullest.

Tee Time’s focus is embracing the true messages of hip hop, and putting the
“good” back into good music. His target audience is anyone who has ever been through something, anyone who loves music and moments that move the heart, especially the youth of tomorrow. With songs like “Emotions” and “Blind Side” Tee Time prides himself on making music that even his mama can listen to.
