"Tef Wesley Serves Conciousness to All Naysayers on His Latest Offering “F.T.S”"

Following up the momentum of his buzzing single “Gametime”, Tef Wesley continues his relentless onslaught of aggressive rhymes and witty wordplay over top of a sinister, hard hitting production provided by Grussle.

In a new era where lyricists get overlooked regularly, listening to dope emcees like Tef is refreshing for me. Without a doubt, many of us respect the art and culture, but the amount of people who don’t, outnumber us. This is one of the reasons why it’s vital for us to keep our ears to the streets as well as be open minded about new artists we might come across on the net.

“F.T.S.” will be featured on Tef Wesley and Grussle’s upcoming album “Pens & Needles”, dropping sometime in the near future.

"Tef Wesley & Grussle Feat. DJ Ragz – “Gametime”"

Tef Wesley is back in action. After sending a warning shot out with “RX” last year, he’s serving up a brand new single, “Gametime”, to kick off things in 2015. Produced by Grussle, this track will be on their upcoming collaborative album, Pens & Needles, due out later this year.

“Gametime” is a strong return to the table, modernizing the golden era hip hop sound with thorough rhymes over hard-hitting production and topped off with impressive cuts on the hook by DJ Ragz of the Jazz Addixx/Muzik Fiendz crew. The song was mixed and mastered by legendary engineer Eddie Sancho.

In the visual for the hit, Tef Wesley takes us into a day in the life with his SK crew and friends, representing to the fullest. The video was directed by Darren Harper for Love Being Street films. - Respect Magazine

"Tef Wesley - RX"

Inner Loop recording artist Tef Wesley debuts the video for “RX,” the first release from Pens N Needles, his collaborative album with producer Grussle. The video for “RX,” which features audio clips from the infamous Charles Manson, was filmed by Stacks Calhoun. Tef’s gritty, aggressive style is well suited by Manson’s emphatic rambling and the video’s urban setting. Look for Pens N Needles to release some time in the near future. Watch the video for “RX” below. Watch the video for Tef and Grussle’s IndieGogo campaign afterwards. - Artistic Manifesto

"Tef Wesley - Corner Store Loosies EP"

As a prelude to his upcoming album with Grussle, titled "Pens & Needles" , Tef Wesley released a free 8-track EP called "Corner Store Loosies", in March, presented by Inner Loop Records. It features Bear Witnez, Muggsy Malone, Matt Eps, and Tese Fever. I'm new to this Virginia emcee, but i'm digging his ambitious, violent raps. And the production on this project is REAL NICE. You should stream it below and download it if you like it. - Tiffology (Crayon Beats Magazine)

"Tef Wesley - Illuminated Skarfaces"

Tef Wesley may be a new face in the Booth, but he comes with a soulfully gritty style guaranteed to have old souls nodding along. On newly-leaked mixtape cut Illuminated Skarfaces, the D.C. representer gives listeners a preliminary taste of his time-tested style, delivering gimmick-free, lyrically-acute bars over Grussle‘s retro-informed samples and boom-bap beat. Like what you’re hearing? Plenty more awaits on Wesley’s debut street album, Corner Store Loosies, set to drop March 14, via Inner Loop Records - DJ Booth.Net

"T.E.F.L.O.N. "The Pre-Concpeption Review""

"T.E.F.L.O.N. is a producer/MC out of the D.C. area. Since one of my homies is from the DC are, I know those DC cats can be crazy but you don't think of a lot of quality coming out of the nation's capital. At first I was kind of apprehensive when I saw the cover and the name, thinking I was in for some of the run of the mill norm thug/gangsta lyrics. Luckily for me though (and you), the phrase "don't judge a book by it's cover" as this possess more resemblance to Little Brother than Lil Wayne. Sure, we have our gun talk here and there, but the majority of the production is pretty soulful with the tracks "Sure Thing" and "Lethal Dosage" standing out the most for me. It's a mixtape and I'm getting to where I would rather bang my head against a brick wall than listen to 90% of the mixtapes out there but this is good enough to get me to check for his project that will be dropping in 2008." - Travis Glave (Wake Your Daughter Up)
