Bio

TEIOUSEKKAI (tay-o-SEK-eye) brings integrity to rock music, creating a distinctive, thought provoking atmosphere while drawing their sound from many world influences.
The band employs complex harmonic structure, blistering speed and frequent meter change in their compositions. TEIOUSEKKAI also displays a knack for song writing, remaining ear-friendly even through the most difficult of passages.

TEIOUSEKKAI, envisioned by Erika Kimura(vox) from Ishikawa, Japan, became a unit in January 2002 with Shane Gibson on guitar(Fort Walton Beach, FL), Damion Sanchez on drums(New Richmond, WI), and Chris Stanbrook(Brockton, MA) on bass. The cultural variety of TEIOUSEKKAI helps to create music unencumbered by the limits and laws imposed on much of the music scene today. Damion provides seemingly circadian rhythms, upon which hypnotic sounds devised by Shane and Chris are constructed. Erika's sinister mood completes the deafening stratagem that is TEIOUSEKKAI.

As a result of many successful gigs in the Boston area, TEIOUSEKKAI has built a strong fan base. The band presently seeks label backing and management that can promote nationally as well as internationally.
