Biography
Teksture is a four-piece rock band based in Los Angeles, California. In 1999, singer/songwriter Bill Bryan moved from Atlanta, Georgia to Los Angeles where he was introduced to drummer Garrett Smith, a Texas native who was auditioning singers for a band. Bill landed himself the job. Several months later, bass player Jesse McCabe, who had moved to Los Angeles from Chicago, Illinois, joined the band. The following year, they were introduced to guitar player and California native, Allen Moreno. Their former guitar player was quickly replaced and the current line-up was cemented.
While their influences include such bands as U2, Coldplay and Stone Temple Pilots, Teksture forges a unique sound completely their own, blending powerful vocal melodies with multiple guitar textures cemented together by a solid foundation of bass and drums.
In 2004, the band completed a three-song demo for 3AM Productions. Original compositions include Wilmington, What You Get and Thank You.
