In all sorts of convoluted ways, the four characters of Telecom arrived from all over the globe to NYC, perhaps the only place such a cast might assemble: brothers Constantine (lead vox, guitar) and George Georgiadis (drums), born in New York but having spent their formative years in Salonica, Greece, returned seeped in that culture's mysteries. Michael Fairbairn (guitar), a towering Scotsman who fled the British Isles in pursuit of his perfect band -not to mention the love of a lady- soon joined the one the brothers were putting together. The line up was finalized towards the end of 2005 when Clinton Van Gemert (bass, vocals), a native of Akron, Ohio who lived in Pittsburgh before New York, walked into the picture with just the right pants on. The quartet of like-minded mid twenty somethings, drawn together by the powers of telecommunication, had just realized they had, at last, found each other.
