Bio

Driven by determination to be the best, Houston born and raised rapper Telee is definitely on the emerges of success. Telee's music is influenced by the likes of legends such as Too Short, UGK, Getto Boys, 8 ball, MJG, Tupac, and Jay-Z. Telee began writing music as a 6th grader mainly about his neighborhood Acres Home aka "Da 44" located on Houston's North Side. He eventually developed his own style that is product of the playboy life style and growing up in the ghetto. Ballin and Thuggin was Telee's first underground street album it was released in 2001. That was followed by the 2002 release of Side by Side as a member of the group Franchize. After several run ins with the law, Telee's music career was temporarily paused. In 2004 he released "Shock & Awe" the all freestyle mix tape. In 2006 Telee released the monster street single "Riding on Chrome" which immediately generated a buzz throughout the streets of Houston but again paused by legal troubles. "From Here On Out" released in March of 2010 was Telee's next release which he felt was his greatest musical creation to the date. This body of work contains contains classic material that without a doubt rose the bar for Houston hip hop. Telee is a versatile rapper that masters the laid back persona but can also switch it up to stimulate the streets and the clubs. Telee's project "The Swagga Continues" was released in November of 2010. This mixtape included features from Young Buck, Trae Tha Truth, Dallas Blocker, 50/50 twin, Bella G, production by Mr. Inkredible, and a few other local artist. With certified club bangers like "Brand New" pushed by the Go DJs and street classics like "Money Counter" (video on Worldstarhiphop.com, Street Flava tv show, and youtube), this project push Telee to new heights. The latest project from Telee "My Finest Hour" defiantly display growth and maturity as an for the Houston native. This artist has no regional limitations at all, he constantly displays the desire, ability, and skill set to become a nationwide pheonom. Telee and his older brother has now teamed up and launched the record label AFE Entertainment; this will be the home of all of Telee's present and future releases.
