Biography
The Temple Cloud Country Club is a project borne out of a longstanding friendship.
Despite both members now living in different countries the connection still remains.
Their ongoing collaboration via the internet generates music of breathtaking beauty
and intelligence.
Band member Dean Frances-­Hawksley says of their debut album "When We Were
Invented":
'It is a concept album, yes. It seems to me there is a point at which what is childish
and innocent and open is to some degree destroyed­ by experience, or by world
events even and we become who we are. The point at which we are 'invented'. The
songs are largely about such moments. The moments at which we are defined and
made. These moments are terribly sad to my mind. A thing invented ceases to be a
possibility.'
The first single "Faith in Aeroplanes" is being released in the UK on limited edition
vinyl.
